| U.S.S. Arthur NCC-96718 Deep Space Explorer The Pendragon Class is a large, intergrated explorer, designed for deep space missions. The engineering department is integrated into the main body of the ship, and the nacelles are part of the command disc superstructure. Much of the ship' interior space is dedicated to advanced science and astrometrics labs, and as a resulst the ship is usually assigned to interstellar mapping and research. This ship is well-defended as well, with a unique weapons system on the ventral face of the ship that can focus a triple phaser burst into a jacketed beam that packs a devastating punch. | Model Details: I modified the command disk from the Enterprise "D" kit, and the understructure is from a Slave One kit. I used elements from a stealth aircraft kit to form the bridge area and the front portions of the attached nacelles. A bussard from a "C" kit, cut in half formed the two collectors, and the back portions of two Enterprise A nacelles finished off the Pendragon nacelles. A Reliant weapons pod is attached to outriggers made from "E" nacelle struts.
