A vessel dating back to 100 years before the first warp test on Earth, the
D2, the second variation in the D line, was the back bone of a growing Klingon warp fleet. The D series marked an aggressive period of colonization, ruthless Klingon packs of Battleships reaching as far as their primitive warp could take them like wolves on the hunt. These vessels have been out of service for over 200 years. The images were provided by the Klingon High Command after having been declassified.

Model Notes:
This bash began with a polar lights D7 kit, and went from there. I scratchbuilt the nacelles and used the clear fluorescent rods I love for the plasma grills. I added the cabling and sectioned command bulb to reflect John Eaves' great designs.
